The Royal Ballet’s iconic production of ‘Swan Lake’ was designed by John Macfarlane. All costumes were created with an incredible attention to detail. As Ladies Cutter at the Royal Ballet and Opera I was responsible for the development of the Queen’s dresses, the Spanish, Italian, Hungarian and Polish Princesses and the tutu plates for the Odette and Odile tutus when the production first opened in 2018.
